NEXA Energy and Support Services designs, supplies and engineers drilling and completion fluid systems that protect the wellbore and the reservoir. We support operators on land, swamp and offshore wells across Nigeria and the Gulf of Guinea, with on-site mud engineers working from Port Harcourt, Warri and Lagos.
Fluid Systems We Deliver
- Ultra-inhibited water-based muds (WBM) for reactive shales and clay-rich sections
- Oil- and synthetic-based mud (OBM/SBM) systems for demanding directional and deepwater wells
- HP/HT clean fluids engineered for densities up to 16 ppg and temperatures up to 390°F
- Completion and workover brine systems to protect productivity during well handover
- Fluid conditioning solutions for every operating environment
On-Site Mud Engineering
Our mud engineers stay at the rig throughout the programme. They monitor rheology, density, filtration and solids content, and adjust treatment in real time to keep the fluid on specification. Every well starts with a fluids programme matched to the formation, well design and hole cleaning requirements. Actual performance is then tracked against the programme and against agreed cost targets.
Rapid Mixing, Ready Inventory
Non-productive time often starts with a late chemical delivery. NEXA keeps a ready-to-deploy, quality-assured chemical inventory and maintains rapid fluid mixing and deployment capability, so fluids reach your location when the drilling programme needs them.
One Partner from Spud to Handover
Drilling fluids perform best when they are managed together with the systems around them. NEXA's integrated 4-in-1 drilling support package combines drilling and completion fluids engineering with solids control, wellbore clean-up and completion fluid filtration. A single accountable contractor means fewer interfaces, cleaner fluid and a smoother transition from drilling to completion.
Compliance and Local Content
NEXA is 100% Nigerian owned. We operate in line with NUPRC requirements and NCDMB Nigerian Content obligations under the NOGICD Act 2010, and we work to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards. Spent fluids and cuttings are handled through our drilling waste management service in compliance with NUPRC, NESREA and EGASPIN.
